Honestly, how do some people get up in the morning ?

"Anyone replaced their stand on their ****?
When I pull her out of my back garden I have to stand her on the grass when I close the gate... trouble is, when its wet the stand has sunk into the grass a little and the bike has tipped over.
Any solutions anyone?"

I carry a honda coaster in my pocket (~4" square). I throw it under the side stand whenever the ground is soft or if I am parking on asphalt for more than a few minutes in the summer.

I thought this would be about sleeping in...

Anyho...Get a garage :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Was definitely confused about the censoring... Also thought about waking up from sleeping...
A paver stone by the gate for the stand would probably help.

That travels with you. A paving stone set into the sod makes things easy at home. Bigfoot stands are available for some bikes.

I do something similar -- I keep a few plastic lids of yogurt containers under my seat so my stand doesn't sink into hot asphalt. Anything works on asphalt, even a piece of paper -- all you need to do is shade a 6" circle from the sun.

As for grass, and gravel -- I keep a hockey puck under the seat - works like a charm.

Isnt a hockey puck awfully thick? My thing is only a 1/2" thick and it still sometimes requires repositioning the bike to make sure it leans enough and isnt blown over.

They handed them out on a demo ride I did 20 years ago. It's not the prettiest but it works and its light.
A couple riding schools gave similar ones out at moto shows, I think I have a centennial college one under my seat. But it's black and gets left behind sometimes as I can't see it as well.

my puck is always with me.......

I have a variety of different things I've used over the years but my current favourites are nice blocks of wood provided by the Hidden Goldmine Bakery in Madoc about 5 years ago, courtesy of "Ride the highlands".

They're a bit big but nicely mitred, made of cedar, and have an angled "notch" cut into them for the kickstand to sit in. They also work amazing - you could use them in Quicksand I swear and your bike would stay up. ;)

They were made specially for motorcycle tourists who spend their $ in the area as a thank you. We love them. Always in my saddlebags.

I picked up a couple of these at the bike show as a free giveaway from one of the insurance companies.
One is in my small tank bag at all times now.

I had 2 of those...but they were black instead of a bright colour. They belong to someone else as I'm pretty sure we left them in the grass in one of the parking lots at Americade a few years ago.

Yes, yes...I know....should have a string to the handlebars. ;)

They hand them out at many courses now.
I have two left. Yamaha is from my first course many years ago.

Mine are white. That's just a stock photo.

I actually bought a black one from Kapsco during black Friday for $9.99 as a filler as I needed to qualify for free shipping.
