I bought this 125 cbr and last week it rode for 10 mins and shut off no lights etc.
I bought a charger and charged the battery and put it back on, nothing.
Took the battery and bought a new one no go.
The lights come on but no start.
Has a f1 red light on the speedometer that comes on briefly when I turn the key and try to start.
I am getting frustrated and would appreciate any help:(
Thanks

If the lights come on, it's not the battery.

As cknowles said above:
1) Make sure bike is in neutral - A green light on the dash should illuminate
2) Make sure the kill switch is not off. - You should hear the engine prime (sounds like a higher pitch whine)

If you are in neutral and the kill switch is not off, the bike should start (or try to)

Let us know.

How many kms does the bike have?

When you got the new battery, the bike didn't start at all?
Sparkplug?

Also check, to make sure the bolt grounding pretty much all your electrics located on behind the right rear fairing on the frame isn't loose.
Mine vibrated loose causing my bike to die on the move on Queen St, Brampton. That wasn't fun... It started back up but it died another 2 times on the move before I got back to examine what was wrong.

Simple things. I got it started.
I had it in 1 st gear and the kick stand was not all the way up.
I left it in gear when I was installing the new battery and forgot.
Man I fell dumb :D, Thanks guys

Why or how did it die while you were riding for 10 mins? lol

It died when I stopped riding after 10 mins because the old battery was shot. The shop checked it and said it wouldn't charge so I bought a new one cost me 135 bucks!

Don't feel dumb! There's a reason the rest of us gave you those items to check ;)
Been there, done that. Phoned roadside assistance, had them tell me first to check the kill switch... D'OH!

Glad you're mobile again!

Just be glad your bike is fuel injected, otherwise you have the whole petcock setting thing, which creates all kinds of "man do I feel like an idiot" opportunities lol

The sidestand switch has tripped me up more than once as well. Also the kill switch (I love my current bike in that the starter is the kill switch - it's a toggle - so you can't forget that you have the kill switch tripped. Clever Germans).

$135 seems steep for a battery. May want to research that a little just for reference purposes regarding the shop you used. I.e. if they soaked a new rider on the battery because they could, they may not be your shop of choice in future.
