Hi,
I love my new bike but it obviously is not a popular choice. Most riders ask me what it is! :(

id love to connect with other owners to share notes.

do you know anyone else who rides this model?

the only user forum i can find is tucked away in a back corner of a honda CBR website.....and its based in Scotland

thanks
cl

apparently i am the only one with this bike

friendly rider - "hey, your bike looks new"
me - "er, ive had it few weeks"
fr - what is it
me - honda cbf600
fr - cb600?, are you sure?
me - no cbf 600
fr - listen buddy, my friend has a cbr600 and it looks waaaay different than your cbr600
me - gotta go man, ride safe

Ha Ha! It is a nice bike but there aren't too many around. When I was looking at Kijiji, I only saw one used. I decided to hone my skills on a Ninja 250 instead.

Ahh I see your bike on the Honda website as well. My bad, not even close to a Hornet. ;)

That video you posted is when I figured out which model it was.

Looks like a nice bike to me. You can't go wrong with any Honda in my opinion.

I would be happy if i were you to be riding something that is a little more uncommon instead of the generic ninja's that 90% of new riders all seem to have. Now that is boring..

Test road one this year. Found it very confortable and very easy to ride. Easy to understand why you love the bike. (Fun to Ride)

i lived on dirt bikes in my teens/twenties. This is my first street bike and im back in the saddle after a 15 year hiatus. (hiatus=falied marriage LOL)
i did my research and the bike delivers what it promises.
Rock solid engine
Idiot proof stability and rider friendliness.
Not on anyones list as a bike to steal
Ample highway power for a middle-aged, mortgage/alimony, strapped hobbyist who isnt trying to impress anyone except my insurance guy.
INCREDIBLY nimble at low speed city maneuvers
comfy seat, big tank
Im hoping resale will be good as there must be others like me (or those sensible folk who want to move up from a 250cc first bike in a few years)
Anyway, its the only +$10K acquisition of mine that was free of buyer remorse or second guesses.
AAAAABBBBBBBBBBSSSSSSSSSSS
:D

You arent alone.I bought mine from Markham outdoor power last July and I've only seen three more in the wild (not on the dealer show room}
One in port dover. One at Freakin Leathers scavenger hunt and one at the ride for sight this year.
Its too bad as these bikes are a blast to ride though not the most powerful. Currently doing research on what it will take to put this engine up to CBR spec.

I have the CBF1000 and am just starting to wake up the beast. Its fun and comfortable. Its a bike that you can use daily and enjoy in the weekends.

whatchu got against ninjas?

Hi! You got one of the bikes I was eyeing! They are brand new 2013 on the Honda website. If I could have bought a new bike this year I was looking at the CBF600 and the CBX600. I personally was leaning more toward the CBX, but I really liked the CBF too. Nice bike!

Glad to hear you are happy with it! :)
Welcome and Cheers!

Hi all,
I just bought one here in Japan, where they are rare as can be. They are treated as imports and individually put through government inspection before registration and delivery. Mine should be delivered within another week or so. . .? By the way, the CBR600 is also generally not sold here. I'm thinking I may never see another CBF600 on the road here! :sad9:
