Honda 750 Shadow-Clutch slips when engine warmed up?

I have a Honda 750 Shadow, that the clutch slips after the engine is warmed up and the bike is ridden a few kilometres. I have bled and changed the clutch fluid twice. Just wondering if the previous owner may have used a friction modified car engine oil or something like slick 50 in the oil. Any thoughts on my mystery?

Probably as mysterious as a worn out clutch if fresh oil and filter doesn't fix it up

Simple to diagnose, juts pull the clutch pack and inspect the friction plates for wear/scoring/notched centers etc...

I have pulled the old plates, and reinstalled. Engine oil changed and Clutch fluid once again and bled properly. After riding for about 5 km and the engine is fully warmed up, the clutch slips once again under medium to high load. Help!! I have the proper fluid level at the clutch lever. If I open the bleed screw at the engine slave cylinder, it will not slip again for another 5 or so km.

something isn't right. take it to someone who can diag. the issue.

It sounds like your pack is not fully dis-engaging. If you are opening up the bleed screw - there is going to be miminal pressure in the hydraulic system - which is allowing the paack to engage again.

Stock or aftermarket levers?

stock levers, went for a ride again today, worked great, then after the engine is fully warmed again and the clutch lever has been used a fair bit, it starts to slip again. It is almost like pressure is building up inside the clutch slave cylinder at the engine and causes the rod that disengages the clutch pack, to slightly disengage the pressure plates and there fore cause the clutch to slip.

Is that the model with the two piece basket and cone spring? Also smells like possible worn/weak spring when a spring gets hot it loses some of its strength. Just a thought.

Check the assembly with a blow apart one thrust washer in the wrong spot effectively takes away 1/16 inch of spring travel and could cause a slip when warm.
