So slow in the corners, but a handful coming out! Sweeeeeeet.

Those bikes weren't there to race. It was a photo op with some very rare race machines. I'd hate to see one of those dropped in a corner. OP nice find. Thanks.

Was on my way to a bike night when I came across this :

Was just about to enter a nice right hand sweeper when I saw it and had to double back. Spent a good couple of hours talking to the owner. Only other NSR250 that I've seen other than mine.

This one's an mc18 with mc21 body work, RVF400 NC35 front end, later R5K exhaust with TYGA goodies on it.
One of the best looking 2 strokes I've ever seen.

We compared exhaust notes from his stockish setup and my Toomey setup... sounded absolutely incredible.

Nice!

Hey 2stroker, looks like you preferred the Aprilia rs250 over the NSR mc16.
Curious, how do the 2 compare?
Like night and day,not to take anything away from the 16,(would have preferred an 18 or 21) it was fun and lighter but was not as confident on it, tire choices were very limited and it was 11 years older. The RS handles like a dream and is incredibly fast.

Ah, interesting.
Have a similar situation with the gamma and the TZR.

Gamma is way faster with the engine mods... but has an 18' rear and 16' front combo - very light and steers quick, not very confidence inspiring but challenging to ride.
TZR's handeling is much better, bike feels more planted and can hold a line much better, but not as fast as the gamma.
Bikes are same but different, both fun in their own way.
