It was more than just verbal... 0:30... looks like she punched or pushed him too.

No excuse for the driver to retaliate, he's a big grown man(employee of the company providing the service) he wasn't in any danger from that woman. He physically walked back towards her before punching her. Switch the bus off, call for help and let the cops and his lawyer deal with her.
