Your opinions of this riders video please.Personally,i see a few issues with this one.The rider in front has the line, but has to hold that line. The approaching rider gave up on the corner and attempted a pass in a poor spot. And he might be in the wrong group with his speed relative to the others.
Thoughts?

To be honest, I've never ridden on the track, so not entirely sure of track etiquette. But doesn't the guy in front get the line? It's up to the rider passing to ensure it's done safely, no?
I'm interested to hear the thoughts of some experienced track riders...

They got too greedy and could have easily tucked in behind the last rider, made a clean pass on the exit of the next corner keeping everyone safe. I also wouldn't have gone on the outside like that either especially at a track day. All it would have taken is one of those guys to use all the track and someone would have gotten *** packed.

Depending on the group/rules, pass on the inside maybe, but that was definitely the wrong place to be at that time. The first rider had the line and COULD have come over even further as he set up for the corner. Could have been ugly.

Any organization I've ridden with you can pass on the inside BEFORE the braking zone. Why would they want you to pass on the outside on a straight? That would cause accidents everywhere.

To win the track day bro.

he was too greedy, too focused on passing others and carried too much speed, so he missed the braking, there's no way he could make that corner, he's new to the track maybe?

He could have made the corner, had the other riders not been there, which is where the problem lies.

It is the passing rider's "Fault". The dudes in front were following the proper line and drifting towards the outside before turning in. How he thought passing outside was a good idea is beyond me. He got lucky not to get forced onto the grass.
