It's funny cause I don't know them personally and have little empathy for my fellow man.

I've seen this a few times.

That's one of the worst things of racing C class (novice). There is always guys not jumping jumps and not holding their line and some faster dude clearing the jump is coming up behind them, expecting the person to hold their line. I've made contact in the air, landed partly on people and have jumped off the track to avoid someone doing a move like that.
