A model they tried to launch a few years ago, it didnt sell, and you couldnt throw these away, and the old stock is likely stuck in warehouses across north america, but act quick! You might not be able to get your hands on a suzuki katana with new stickers!

1000cc katana? When did that happen? I thought they were all 600's?

EDIT:
You forgot to highlight that customers in the US "will also receive a 24-inch by 24-inch Makoto Endo Katana illustration reproduction as a digital lithograph". Might as well have a picture of your medium priced bike. It's not awful looking but if I was hanging bike pics, this wouldn't be it.

Wth is a digital lithograph? It should be digital (ie printer) or lithograph (ie plates). @Wingboy do you have any idea what they are talking about?

they repackaged a gsxs 1k, which itself is a repackaged gsxr

The new Katana was for me, I am the target demographic. I still haven't bought one... yet

12 l is a small tank, 200km range. Kinda small for a bike that is properly setup for touring.

The quickshifter they have fitted on the latest GSX-S1000/GT/Katana is super slick. I do like the styling and colour scheme on that Katana, but not the 12L fuel tank and sticker price. Nothing wrong with repackaging a legendary motor in my opinion - it's tried and tested - some value bulletproof reliability over cutting edge technology. I really hope they do something even mildly interesting for the SV650's 25th anniversary. Anything but bold new colours... Not counting on it, but one can dream...

There is no way Suzuki doesn't have plans on the books already to replace the SV650 with a parallel twin in the near future

1981, which the latest one is a homage to:

I have to say this is one of my favorite looking I4's, but even if I were to go back to one, the low range/small tank is a deal-breaker.

When I first saw it, my initial reaction was that it could be a real-life version of the flying motorcycles from Galactica 1980.

I dont do much offroad, but is anyone even buying their dirt bikes these days?
I imagine anyone who does any real dirt is buying KTM/husky

I know style appreciation is subjective, but to me this is one of the ugliest bikes I have seen.
When I first saw this article posted, I thought it was a joke and expected the person riding it to be wearing acid washed jeans as it looks like something out of the 80's
