Highway 28 to Bancroft

If anyone is taking this route to Bancroft be warned. About 15 km's outside of Bancroft a construction zone starts with some real ****** roads for the whole 10 - 15 km's. If you are coming FROM Bancroft it does not affect the other side as much, maybe only 5 km's.

So going west of Bancroft on 28 is not a tragedy then? If I'm keeping right on Monck instead of following 28 especially?

Yea you should be OK for the most part. The construction starts about 10 km's before it turns into Monck.

I just came through that way. Most of the paving job eastbound is finished, westbound still has a section of grooved pavement in preparation for paving but it's no problem to ride on. Will likely be done in the next few days.
