noise reduction rating (NRR) 33, highest level for ear plugs. to achieve NRR greater than 33, you need to wear ear muffs over the ear plugs, which is not possible for a biker.

each pair is individually sealed. throw them out when they get dirty. i throw a pair out every month so these will last you over 1 year.
gun ranges, TTC subway workers, machine shops, construction sites and etc require hearing protection. i am shocked that most riders on the road don't use it.
custom ear plugs from an audiologist are a waste of money. they cost $100+ and don't work as well, and if you lose them, $100 down the drain.
