Look up A&R for a nice HID kit, its so easy to install it shouldn't take you more then 15-30 minutes MAX.... Just remove headlight bucket, remove old bulb, put new bulb in, connect wires... there you now have HID! We are here to help you :)

Im sure most bikes use H4 sized bulbs, I've yet to see another (if they are using regular bulbs) HID kits can vary a bit but I am quite positive they are all the same.
Hell, my 1982 Honda has the same bulb as my 2008 M109R so im sure not much will change.

Edit: I just realized im on GTAM, not the M109R forums. Still, the same thing applies... Most are plug and play

I get mine from www.ddmtuning.com if you don't mind a 3 week shipping period.
Very easy to install, Hardest part is finding a place to put the ballast.

Majority of headlights on bikes that use Hi/Lo in the same bulb are H4's, If you have a seperate bulb for your Hi beams you most likely need H7's.

I agree. HIDs are useless without proper projectors and cutoff. Yes, you can buy them cheaply, but they're going to have ****** beam dispersion and end up blinding everyone. Please don't go this route.

If you want them install properly (and legally) look into have them retrofitted by a professional (if you're afraid of doing it yourself). Check here... http://xenondesigncreations.weebly.com/

xdcycle.com sells a really good kit. Im trying to post a shot but it wont let me for some reason. Installation isnt extremely difficult, if you can remove your fairings yourself than the rest aint all that hard. Be careful though cuz if you get projector the bubl required for the kit may be a different size from your stock set so inquire before you waste money buying wrong bulbs.

Jason and Steve at 22 Customs carry and install HID kits, give them a call. He set up a friend of mine with a great HID/projector kit for his FZ6R for a pretty reasonable price.

Alright since this is an "HID" related thread and since no one has commented on my thread about my project regarding my HID installation, id like to ask. After i connected my HID bulb to my 35W ballast, the HID bulb doesn't completely turn on, it only flashes really fast and eventually completely turns off. The bulb itself is a 6000K 3000LM two stage bulb, meaning it has both hi and lo function. hi and low work however the actual HID emmiter does not turn on :( i did some research and according to most people on the interweb it can be a number of problems however mainly identified as a faulty ballast. any input will be greatly appreciated :D

Don't get them from DDM. they've been going downhill, giving people mis-matched bulbs and faulty ballasts. They've been shipping directly from the supplier therefore no quality control. I'd suggest aggracing.com. Justin is great to deal with, the stuff is quality and you don't have to wait 3 weeks to get them.
