HID Mounting

I am planning to get HIDs. how do people usually mount their wires, ballast, etc?

This would really depend on what you ride and what space there is to work with. Sport bikes are easy to hide with the cowlings...cruisers much harder to keep it neat and tidy

What bike model/year would help On my 07 R1 there was room behind the dash (between the dash and nose/headlights/windshield) to mount both ballasts.

Not all cruisers... everything on my kit fit into the headlamp can.

Hopefully, you get the lights checked and aligned afterwards, as well as the legality.

I'd hate to run into someone because I was blinded by their cheap install.

I have a 2010 ninja 250. it feels like theres a lot of room but not sure if i should tape it of zip tie it or whatever to something... LOL

Avoid tape, use zip ties or screws whenever possible.
