Hi everyone!


Just joined this forum after reading a few posts these past couple of days. I finally decided that I'm getting a bike this year - decided on a Ninja 250 to start with (though the temptation to go with a 400 or 500 is strong! lol).


I'm getting my M1, M2 and the bike all in the span of a couple of weeks and hopefully will catch the tail end of the riding season.


If anyone is interested in riding with a complete newbie, let me know! =)


I'm in Scarborough, in the Kennedy and Finch area.

hey, im in the same boat as you. Complete newbie. Took my M1 last week and doing the M2 training this weekend. Also bought a used CBR250RA, picking it up this Friday.
Im in scarborough as well. Brimley and Lawrence. Looking forward to getting out there ridding with all of you.
 
Just got the bike!!! Seller got it certified and dropped it to my house this evening. Soooo excited!

Now all that's left is some minor details...M1, M2, helmet, jacket, gloves, insurance, and I'm good to go :cool:

Been too busy to ride :( Only had one day I could ride this week, and there was trouble starting up but seafoam appears to have cleared that up nicely. I need to fill up the tank but I probably won't have time to really go out for a ride until late this weekend. Next week looks promising though!

Picked up an awesome black 2011 Ninja 250 :D

Markham Outdoor Power is having a 40% off apparel sale, so picked up a helmet (EXO-1100), gloves (Alpinestars SM2) and a jacket (Teknic Mercury). Also wrote my M1 this morning (and passed) and bought insurance from State Farm. Now just to get plates and I'm ready to ride (on my driveway that is...going to do the safety course first).

i'm out in the scarborough boonies... sheppard and kingston road region (yes, those do eventually meet)
