Well you dont neeed to wait really, if you really want to you can grab a 250cc and ride for probably 3-4 weeks :P

+1 Ya, what is stopping you from getting into the saddle now??? I got licensed in mid October (mind you it was some time ago) and rode my "new to me bike" straight to Key West Florida for the winter...a full year of non stop riding....ahhh life was so much simpler then.

lol! you serious bro? you rode down to florida just after getting your licence?
how long ago was that, what bike? and how was the experience as a newb? anything overwhelm you?

If you are interested in jumping on a bike I have a really good starter bike for sale in mint condition. It's a 2010 ninja 250 all black in red trim with only 7k on it and insurance is very cheap for it. Pm me if your interested.

Sorry to hijack your thread fingers... I still think you should log in some saddle time this year.

Ok, it was 1982, I was 21. Sold my 1971 Pontiac LeMans for $300.00 and headed South on my Yamaha 650 Special for the winter. There were no issues as a newb. The only thing I found slightly overwelming was the amount of hot babes that dug Canadian Bikers. LOL - now that's a long story....

Hey, I am in the same situation as you. I get my M2 at the end of November and have to wait untill the Spring to get a bike and get out there. I could get a bike earlier, but I need to save for one over the Winter.
