help with speeding ticket please

haven't had a speeding ticket since 1997 and was given one on october 18, 2012 for 30 over (90 in a 60 zone)...chose option 3 and just received my notice for my court date which is to be july 13, 2013...read the sticky's here and also the fyst website and am confused about a couple of things:

1) fyst says first thing to do is change the date as the first court date is most likely the police officer's regular day in court
2) both this forum and the fyst website talk about 11b (having a trial in due time)

for anyone knowledgeable out there, with the trial date being so far into next year, should i bother changing it or am i already eligible under an 11b?

also, my first name on the trial date notice is incorrect...does this have any bearing?

finally, there were two police officers present when i was given the ticket but only one name on the offense slip...do both have to be present?

not looking for any backlash or advice that says "read the sticky" as i have and couldn't find answers to these questions...looking for some real help...thanks

1) If you change the court date you will be ineligible for 11b
2) Generally 8 months is a good starting point for 11b but you should have your disclosure by now
3) No that is a minor error, he has your license plate, driver's license number, last name, etc.
4) Only one cop has to be present

1) Close. Any delay between the original date and the new date will be attributed to the accused and, therefore, not count toward 11b.

2) It's more like 12-13 months in Southern Ontario.

3) Agreed.

4) Agreed.

.... and actually that stuff is all either in the sticky post, or has been discussed at length in other threads.
