Well, have grown cold to windows live movie maker.

I'm running a 64 bit Windows 7 computer.

My choices are adobe premier elements 10 or Sony movie studio HD platinum 11.

Aparently the adobe will run better on my system, and the music loop track tool sounds like something I could use.

I don't plan on doing 3D, so the big draw for the Sony program isn't really a selling point for me.

My movies are usually my little motocross movies, off roading etc.

So give me your feed back. They are both on sale right now.

Thanks guys!

I don't use either one, but you are asking kind of tough question. A lot of video stuff is about workflow and how fast you can achieve stuff done. Once you are done cutting, rolling etc. it's all about compressing for export out. If you are a small volume (footage wise) user it comes really down to what you like. It's like asking what bike do you like more ...

Latest versions nowadays should be all 64 bit codes able to hit your multiple core CPU. But whether the two apps you mentioned are, I don't know off the top of my head.

The adobe is 64 bit the Sony is 32

I find with movie mker after I get a few clips in there it really slows it down and makes it hard to do my splicing right where I want it.

You may still have that problem with another piece of software.
