Help Needed 05 GSXR1000

Hey all, I am in need of some help. Never had any probs with this bike and now of course when I am heading down to the Gap soon she is having an issue. Once last weekend and then again on Thurs night as I was riding down the HWY in 6th gear around 130ish kms/hr (both times) the motor just shut off for about 6-8 seconds and then came back to life by itself. I have looked over everything and nothing seems to be loose. A friend of mine said it could possibly be the TPS but we are not 100% as I can't make it happen, it just happens sporadically. Any help with this is much appreciated.

Check the battery terminals for tightness, how old is the battery? If it stalls like this is the headlight still full brightness? My guess is an intermittent electrical issue, as you didn't mention being on reserve or anything. So, if not the battery then possibly the ignition switch, etc. etc.

It could be fuel starvation or electrical related issue. Best thing to do is to have is diagnosed by a professional.
