HELP! Need oil cap today!

I was planning to ride tonight and throughout the long weekend. Unfortunately yesterday as I rode, somehow my cap fell off, or it was stolen before I got on the bike (?!). What a huge mess on the side of my bike...

Luckily I didn't lose all the oil and the bike is good. But I need a cap! I'm in the east end, I tried calling Snow City, Cycle World East, atc corral in Stouffville. No one has it in stock!

Does anyone have an extra one I can buy? Otherwise I can't ride all long weekend :| Any help would be appreciated.

Bike: 2008 Suzuki GSX-R 600

are they specific to a 2008 gsxr? find out of the haybysa, gsxr 750, 1000, sv650, sv1000, katana 600, 750, gs500e gs500f caps will work

I'll have a look in my spare bin parts for one. If not, you can take my oil cap for the weekend and return it to me by early next week.

blue streak racing should have one of those aftermarket caps in stock.

actually any accesory shop should.

Ontario Cycle Salvage? Royal? GP Bikes? Suzuki of Newmarket/Brampton?

Going to try Ontario Cycle Salvage.

GP Bikes isn't a Suzuki Dealer so I'm not going to try there.

I tried calling Brampton Powersports (I think that's the same as Suzuki of Brampton..?) this morning a few times but no one picks up in their parts department :(

Blue Streak - Too far for me to go get it today unfortunately.

call the mono bike yard
If a 99 gsxr 750 will work I can loan u one off my other bike.

Thanks both of you for offering - that's why I love this forum. Always people happy to help out. I wouldn't feel comfortable take anyone else's cap off their bike though.

If anyone has an extra one lying around though, let me know :)

I got 3 gsxrs and a spare engine on the bench, swing by and grab it.
u can return it once u get one
im in orangeville

Opppps! I must not have tightened that enough, well thank god it was the filler cap and not the drain bolt....Anyways its my responsibility to get this fixed up and any other damages it has caused...Luckily I have a spare GSXR filler cap, so I will be bringing it to him downtown once the traffic dies down...

Ill bring the tools to adjust the chain also, so we kill 2 birds with one stone

For the record, Johnny does great work. I've been to him before and will continue going to him again for my bike needs. The fact that he's willing to bring me a spare cap he has, shows his integrity to his work, and to any mistakes (not common I'm sure) that may have been made.

If you are already not getting your bike work done from him, I'd urge you to give him a shot. Everyone that already goes to him, knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Thanks man it happens I am not perfect, in 10+ years working on bikes that is the 2nd time I did that...First time being my own bike, so it is what is is.... I cant say Im perfect, but I can say I will stand behind the work, so I will fix and or replace whatever was lost or damaged...And this site it really helpful also, look how many people offered to lend you the cap off their own bikes, thats great. And had you not met me down town, I had another customer from here that had read this thread and text me letting me know he would meet him in Scarb where he lives closer to you, and give you his cap off his GSXR and I could replace his cap later.

Got my fingers crossed that the chain I installed doesnt fall off next LOL
