Help Insuring Car with Rebuilt Title

We are in the process of replacing one of our cars, so insurance related but not motorcycle.... I have found a good deal on a car that was rebuilt 11 years ago (and is branded). Our current insurance company does not want to insure cars with rebuilt titles. I have noticed in other threads here people have done it. Can someone PM me with the Insurance Company (or broker) that you used.

Yes, I know the risks of buying a rebuilt car but I have checked the car out top to bottom, all is good and the price is right, just need to sort out insurance.

My father has a rebuilt car that is insured with Wawanesa -- no problems there. You can use this link to find a broker who deals with Wawanesa:

I also owned a rebuilt car that I had insured through Wawanesa, and then with State Farm. I never had an issue.

Thanks for the info, given the difficulty I was having getting insurance I decided to pass and bought a different car...
