Help! Engine troubles!

Almost any shop can do a rebuild including me. problem is most bike engines are not worth rebuilding. The parts/machining alone generally out values a used engine swap. What bike and why do you feel it needs a rebuild?

The cost will vary widely, depending on what the nature of the problem that one is trying to solve. Make/model/year, and what's the issue that prompts wanting an overhaul? Some things are very easy to solve without tearing down the whole engine. A complete overhaul renewing ALL wear parts will easily get into the multiple thousands if you are paying someone else to do it.

I do mine myself, sending out only machine work and cylinder head work (which I don't have the tools for).

I have a 2006 Suzuki gs500F which Starts but it makes a loud clicking noise.. I ran it with the oil low.. Now I gotta pay the price :(.. Any suggestions?

Just get another engine from a wrecker. It's not worth rebuilding that one. They've been making the same engine for 20ish years - they're a dime a dozen.

Thanks Brian.. Know any wrecker places that I can call? I called Ontario salvage and they have none.. I need new places to call
