Help!!! Bike dies, have track day tomorrow

So I was prepping my 05 cbr 600 for my first track day and now when I rev the engine it the bike dies. Bike was running fine before I did the following:

Tried putting woodcraft engine covers on but one of the bolts inside the cover is stripped so I put everyhing back the way it was. I also drained all the oil and did an oil change

I flushed all the coolant out and replaced with engine ice.

Took out 2 fuses for the headlight n brake light to disconnect

That's it. Now the bike idles really low.

Any ideas????

I assume oil level is correct? Proper fuse in proper place? Does it start up no problem?

First off, remove the engine ice from the system.

Now did you remove the gas tank at all? And the first question is, is there fuel in the bike and how old is it?

Did you lift the tank while doing any of this?

When putting the fuel tank back in place on the 05 & 06 CBR600RR, it's very easy to pinch the fuel line. If everything is good the tank will fall into place and the front (mid) mounts bolts will line up. If you have to push the tank into place al all, something is being pinched.

Also, as everyone else has said; you'll probably want to replace that Engine Ice with water (or water & water wetter). Engine Ice is still a glycol based coolant and most places don't allow it.

Flush the engine ice out and use water or water+water wetter. Pinched fuel line or tank breather is my guess. Easy to do easy to fix and would cause the problem you are describing.

Also sounds like a pinched fuel line to me.. I had the same issue on my DRZ and the fuel line was the problem.

Thanks for all the advice.
It was the idle adjuster that was adjusted accidentally while we were working on the bike. I didn't even know I an idle adjuster.

Thanks again everyone!
