couple guys with their bikes at tim's. Couple years snowboarding put me in bed for several months and lost my job. therefore, cancelled my insurance on the bike.
Now that everything has fallen back into its place my prior insurance company tells me it's their policy not to insure uninsured vehicle.
I have tried other companies but they are charging 3x more than what i was paying my former insurer.
The only way my old company would insure me back is if i bring a proof of insurance from another company.

what do you guys suggest.

You are going to need a lot more info.......Companies name, age, location, G and M status...

Sell the bike or buy something else and insure it. State farm assumes that you operated vehicle without insurance and therefore you are risky. You should have put vehicle under storage for like 100 for the year. Continuous insuranc is very important even if you have vehicle stored in your garage. Peace.

I dont get this. I recently bought a bike certified but its going to be a bit of a winter project so my plan was to leave in uninsured and fix it up. Come spring get statefarm to insure it. Will they not do that because i owned if for a few month prior to roading it? I am I reading this correctly or is this different from this mans situation. Also to me this policy makes little sense.
