Helmet with the most ventilation?

What is the best helmet for ventilation? Is there a website with a list or comparison test?

I have Googled and found nothing official on this topic.

I would even appreciate some personal experience with different helmets.

I have worn almost every brand and The top three to me are:

1: Bell Star (currently using)
2: Shark RSR2 (discontinued and limited availability in Canada)
3:Shoei x-12

I have worn everything from nightmares (for ventilation) like HJC and Scorpions, to stuff like the Vemar carbon, Joe Rocket, Icons airframe and mainframe, lots of shoei's, andmany more. you have to consider your price range in a helmet your going to buy though. The only major brand I have never owned (because they fit my head WRONG) is and Arai.

My arai quantum was much better than my hjc rps-10, however this particular hjc isn't bad at all for ventilation and the price tag is a major bonus, I couldn't justify having to drop another $1000 if I were to crash. Shoei or Arai would probably be the best.

I've worn a few helmets.... and the best so far is my Suomy for ventilation. Having said that, if you can't get it for a steal, then it's hardly worth it.

I went from a Joe rocket hardcore Canadian lid to a shoei rf1100. Night and day difference on air flow, sound reduction and comfort. the shield is practically invisible.
but cost was a lot more. i picked up the rf1100 for 300$
Only reason i got it.
keep your eyes out on deals and just ask the sales guy what's the best price. that's what i did.

Ive got an agv k3 which isn't too bad on ventilation, but the shoei x11 I have is the Shiz for it, makes the helmet noisy as **** tho

Bell star. Read reviews. At 50kmh it's like a giant fan on your head. I had a vortex before that and the rf1000 and the difference absolutely floored me. But be prepared the tradeoff is a lot of noise. A lot.

arai corsair v, its like having ac on your head. bit noisy for street cause of all the vents but cools like nothing ive ever worn before

Love my Suomy Apex helmet. I've worn dark tinted sheilds in the cold/rain/morning/foggy conditions and it has never once fogged up.

Reasonably noisy but isn't too cool or too hot. Just right for my comfort level.

I have recieved info from Jake at SportbikeTrackGear.com saying that their independent research shows that the Bell Star and RS-1 are the best for ventilation. Does anyone else have personal experience with these? I checked out their site and noticed that they have a Bell Star has 2 models for the same helmet, one carbon one not. Does anyone know if that is just for show or is it all carbon fibre or something?

The carbon is carbon fiber and one of the lightest helmets you can buy. I think that there are only two that are lighter. BUT they are the lightest Snell rated helmet period. Having a snell rating is gonna be a heavier helmet because they have different requirements to the international system.

I tried both the star and RS-1 and they are both about the same for ventilation. My Star is THE BEST helmet I have ever owned or ridden in. The RS-1 is great but for the little extra cash your can get mindblowing!!!!

Another vote for Bell Star. Amazing air flow, but very loud. I was sold by the photochromatic visor.

Thanks folks, you've been a big help
