Hi,
I just wanted to say hi. My name is Chris and I'm from Kingston, ON. I currently have a few bikes classics a pair of 84 Honda Interceptors 750, and a NS400R. All are in rebuild mode. I have one interceptor completely stripped and will be sanding down and painting the frame/swing arm/forks/fairing starting next month. I currently have a fairing setup from 85 VF1000R that I'll fixing/repaint to MATTE BLACK with subtle yellow accents. Also I have a set of the comstars rims from the 85 vf1000r. I'm also toying with the idea of the vf1000f carbs over the 750 for the larger venturi. Oh,,, I do have a RC34 cluster (JDM) that I need to figure out in swapping in. It shouldnt be too hard in following traces and with a wire diagram from the vf750f.
Second 84,,, sits in a box and whatever part I need will be for first one. I thought about rebuilding, but naaa not worth it. I'll enjoy the other one.
Last but not least. I got an NS400R with a NA VIN. The rest of the parts are going to be JDM/UK. Bike is in a box basically. I'm aiming for the summer of 2013 on the road and lic. I paid about $800 so far and would need about $1500 to get it one the road (JDM yahoo auctions). Labour is free is a huge plus. About $3000 for a rebuild frame/engine is a very good deal for an NS400R
I do have some gear. However I'm looking for a Joe rocket Interceptor black/grey jacket XL and a shark Moovit LUMI helmet in size LG. One more kicker is I haven't rode a bike in about 15 years they were an 85 Interceptor 500, Honda Elite 80, and a 86 SPREE 50cc.
I'll be taking a course again since I'm way out of the loop in riding.
