Hi All, New rider here, enjoying the new community and my new ride.
Born in South America, surrounded by small motorcycles, only got to ride a PW50 and scooters.
Lived in Montreal 10 years for University and moved last October to Toronto cuz Wifey got transferred here. So far, loving my hew home-town and the community.
So... with the return tax I got by moving from QC (yeup, rumours are true!) I decided to finally get a bike. Passed the written test in April 1st, did my MST course with RTI (By the way, course and instructors were amazing!) and got my first bike last Wednesday. Read lots of reviews and turned down my dream Ducati Monster for money concerns (MSRP, insurance, service...) and advise from riders. So far the CB500F has been great, really good handling, forgiving on the gears and enough pull to get me around. Clutch was a bit loose so I tightened to end up not being able to get N. But a few spins n' got it to be just perfect.
So far staying safe and visible, loving the weather, my new ride and looking forward to seeing y'all on the road.
Peace Out.
