GIL here, a bit about me

GIL is an acronym for "Garage In Living" room (yes, I know its "GILR". but thats not cool maaaaaan....)

I've been riding on and off since i was 16,

my current bikes are:

i have an absolute beast of a zx10r,

which is to date the fastest and scariest bike ever.
that first time you crack it above 4k rpm and your shoulder sockets "pop" lightly.
Then, above 8k rpm you wonder why your arms are a couple inches longer, and you cant feel your hands.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! love it love it love it.
(unfortunately have to sell :sad6: because i bought a house.)

and an '84 xs400 maxim yami, which i am finally finishing to ride for this season.


hopefully this riding season will be awesome, on my slow-as-hell 400. at least it'll look good .

I dont have much experience with forums, but a lot of experience with "kijiji'ing" i guess it does rub off a little.... the sale of my bike was not meant to be the focus of the thread.

That being said, i will be using the classifieds section. I read the rules. all of them. twice.


I would like to find a non-affiliated membership situation, but a bunch of peeps that like to meet up/go for cruise etc.

i have used the "Search" button and found a few threads from last season. will wait for april to role around.



here is the 400 before the teardown. with just the seat and tank off.

and the beast with parts of the 400 all over the floor today...haha
