Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum 
A little bit about me...
I'm a 17 year old guy and have been obsessed with motorcycles since I was little. Originally, I was really set on getting the Ninja 300; but due to cost I ended up getting a 2010 Ninja 250r with 7000km for $2700 all the way from Ajax.
I got my M1 and then did the MSF in September. I was one of the three in my class to finish with a perfect score! I have never dropped a bike (knock on wood) and feel very comfortable on the 250. In November I got my M2.
Then, I made the decision to not insure it until the spring as the season was pretty much over. Worst. Decision. Ever! Until it started actually snowing, I would ride up and down my small crescent over and over again. I asked the neighbors if they were OK with it; I didn't want to present a bad image of riders. Once I was forced to winterize the bike, I started going a little crazy. I watched twist of the wrist about 10 times over and must've watched every motorcycle youtube video out there. I started with some mods (reflector removal, rear peg removal, fender eliminator; small stuff) to keep myself sane.
Finally when spring rolled around I asked my dad to get his license so we can insure the bike (insurance won't insure me solo). He kept delaying it over and over (grrr) until finally he got his license just last week. We then went to insure/certify the bike and now we're all finished! Tomorrow we're going to head to Service Ontario so I can finally get plates and legal. Oh, and while I was riding on my crescent up until this week; I managed to accumulate about 1300km. Obsessed, I know. This is my dream since my childhood.
I attached some pictures of the bike; I took the whole thing apart the day I bought it just for fun and to see the insides(broke a plastic rivet though )
I hope I'll find this forum useful and also provide other with info to benefit us all. Let's ride!
