Hey all. Lurking for a long while, rode a lot in college / early work years then took a break for a bit. Now married with kids, back into it last year with a 2003 Bandit 1200S. Very gracious wife who lets me take those periodic long Saturday rides, and a couple of weekends away on the bike...
 
Welcome. What's a weekend away feel like? My wife is not that generous.

Welcome. Yes, please let us know what it feels like. My wife has been very generous to let me go for weekend morning rides but I haven't tested the grounds for a full weekend. Ride safe!

Thanks for the welcome! Weekends away are awesome. Two per season, one summer, one fall. I'm a manager at an engineering firm and we have two year old twins at home, so my wife says if it'll help keep me sane, take some time away. Not going to lie, I didn't put up much of a fight. And we have lots of family around who are willing to help out, which doesn't hurt.
