Hi there,
We live just north of Guelph and are just getting into the sport. Like others here I rode dirt bikes back in the day...not racing, just rode around in the fields and ditches (which was allowed for the most part) as a kid. My wife and I are enrolled in the RTI course at the U of Guelph on the last weekend of April for our M1 exit. Looking forward to learning a new skill and enjoying the upcoming spring and summer months. I just purchased a new 2011 Ninja 250R yesterday for my starter bike and my wife is currently looking for a DR200/250 new or used for her first ride.

I hope to see lots of bikes out as the nicer weather approaches and lots of safe riding for everyone.

Welcome. I am a new rider as well. I got my M2 in October of last year. We are in Rockwood. My sister and BIL have a catering company in Elora so I know the area! Enjoy your course and I hope the weather is nice for you!
