Hey everyone!!

I got my motorcycle last week a 2009 kawasaki vulcan 500 and now i am officially addicted to riding.

I love this forum you guys helped me through buying my gear to buying my new bike and getting insurance and finally getting her on the road. This forum and you guys are awesome!!!

I am at the timmies at overlea finishing my coffee, anyone in the area riding (I see a few lone riders like myself riding around...lol) we can get together for a chat and a ride, would love to see some riders from the area.

I have another 3 hours to kill today...so let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks, ya I'm a new rider. I don't mind the cagers at all, already put 400 clicks on it on the city roads including downtown Toronto...I thought it would be very scary, but knock on wood it has been going great so far.

I think the drop at the motorcycle safety course has taught me great lessons ;)

Welcome and good luck dude, i am at warden and steeles. If you hit that side of town, let me know. I already have 4k racked up since April. Ride the living crap out of your first bike and you will learn a lot. Downtown T.O riding will build up your skill as well.

Thanks! Thats good to know man i was there twice already this weekend...very nice area...I'll pm you when I'm there next time and we'll meet up.

BTW I'm at Eglinton and Don Mills area if you come to this area shoot me a message.

Hey, welcome, I'm mount pleasant and Eglinton, we can ride one in a while for sure. I'm back to riding after many many years break, so yeh I'm new rider too. Be safe!

nice! which routes you usually take in the area?

In the evenings I like to go east on eglinton from don mills all the way to warden/kennedy/midland, somewhere in the middle sometime go for timmies near ciniplex and then go north on one of the streets up to lawrence/ellismere and back to don mills or laird then back to my home. I go for shorter rides in the evenings.

we can definitely get together for riding.
 
These routes are very similar to mine, sometimes I go south also...we should definitely ride one of these days.
