Just wanted to give you guys a heads up, there is an Ebay seller based in the GTA that runs his business horribly. He goes by the name of " psycho-moto" and i have never dealt with a more unprofessional individual. long story short: I bought a set of mirrors, one was defective ( flew off on the damn highway), he wanted more money to send replacement, i said no and gave him a bad ebay rating, he tried to pay me to lie and change to a good rating (im not an agel/ purest but my integrity is worth more than a couple bucks), still refuses to retify the situation. Good prices but for a reason. Poor communication, poor products, poor service.

Not a rant, just a heads up

I'm shocked. Lol, with that name I don't think I would expect real professionalism, more like hooliganism.

You rated him on eBay before the transaction was complete??? IF he was trying to refund you money "pay you to lie" why would you rate him poorly as a seller?

I always give sellers the opportunity to "make it right" before rating them poorly.

I actually purchased an integrated smoked taillight from them a couple of months ago with zero issues - shipping was hella fast, fitment was perfect, no problems.

really now, who would trust a guy named 'psycho-moto'? lol

I rated him after 10 days of emailing back and forth and him telling me he wasn't willing to do anything. Poor rating was warranted at that point

But you said he offered to pay you to lie? I assume that means he wanted to refund some or all of your money for you to leave good feedback. Am I mis-understanding?

did you check over the whole thing when it was installed? had you left something loose? did a solid piece break?
I think I picture of the broken piece would eliminate some of the questions here.

Post a picture of the "leftover" piece. In many mirrors (i.e. on my CBR) there is another bolt, which usually needs to be tightened. I didn't tighten it on my mirrors and they "closed-in" at certain speed on the highway. Tightened those bolts (the ones with springs) and no problems. I wouldn't be surprised if those bolts were not tightened, the mirrors would have flown off.
