A question for those of you that have one. How do you upload the pics/vids?
It seems I can only view the vids in quicktime player

Take the memory card out of the Cam and insert it into a card reader.

There should be one or two folders (usually one). The one folder should contain both the pictures and videos.

The pictures should be in .jpg (most likely but it can be other formats) and the video... probaly .avi, not sure. To play them in a different player, right click it and then select "open with" and just select your favorite video program.

If you want to upload the video to youtube, just go to the upload section of your youtube account and just browse for the video you want to upload. Thats it.

To upload the pictures or share it, just drag the picture out of the card and do w/e you want with them.

I use VLC player for all my videos, works great.

+1 to VLC Player, best open source player ever!

ok, I have some vids now and downloaded the VLC. Question is how do I edit in VLC? for example if I have a 15 minute video
how do I edit it down to 2 minutes so I can post it online?

You don't. VLC is simply a player, not an editor. You'll need to use Windows Move Maker or something like that.

Yep Movie maker is probably all you need.
this is turning out to be quite the pain in the arse. Files are .MOV, still can't open with windows media or movie maker.
so is there something I can do to convert .MOV into .AVI or another compatable file?
