Hamilton to New Liskeard

so the Friday of the long weekend(bad day to go i know) I'm making the trip to New Liskeard. its about an hour south of Timmins just on the border of quebec.

This is just a real quick google map I made avoiding the highways since they will be a disaster.
But I dont know any other nice roads I could take to get up there. does anyone have any thoughts?

Outside of the GTA the highways should be fine. I like the 101 on the Quebec side - the pavement is as smooth as glass. Here's a different take on your route.

I like the route north of barrie! thanks
Im going to try and pass through forks and hokley road on my way to barrie. thats about the only change ill make. but on a long weekend friday, im not sure how good the roads will be for any kind of riding
