Hamilton-area help / advice needed! Snapped bolt-o-rama!

Hey all,

I was in the process of replacing the star clutch spring on my 1986 Kawasaki Concours when two of the lower bolts on the clutch cover sheared off. The bolts are an M5 x 40 that are sheared flush with the case.

I drilled them and attempted to use an easyout to no avail, I'm now reluctant to keep going with left-handed drills bits, torches etc for fear of causing more damage. There are 2 bolts that are broken and need to be removed, the remainder came out fine.

Anyone really good at this type of thing and want to make some weekend part money? I would prefer not to have to trailer the bike somewhere to have it fixed. Just let me know what you think is reasonable hrly $. I'm in Hamilton by Gage Park.

Alternatively, any ideas on where I can take if I can't resolve this at home?

Any help would be appreciated,
Adam

Dude your lucky.
There's a drill Dr in Hamilton that goes to all the shops to fix only that when they don't want to.
Call todd at active green and Ross on hughson St 905-572-7444
Ask him for matte phone number, the drill guy for broken bolts. He will come to your hose to do it. Cost about 60 to show and another 20 or so for the others.

That is absolutely fantastic, thank you so much for the advice. I'll give him a shout this weekend and hopefully get it sorted.
Feel free to PM me you address so I can send you a tims card as thanks.

Cheers,
Adam
