Guess what bike this is?

Was down at the bike store a few days ago and saw this sitting on the floor:

I remember when they first came out, I looked into getting one. But it just wasn't in the cards. I've never even seen one in person. It's the only production bike ever made with HCS. Such interesting engineering. And what a beautiful machine!

The company came out with a RaceCafe version a few years ago, but from what I gather, the owner modified this from the stock naked bike.

Benelli was actually founded 10 kms away from where Bimota was.

All the crazy Italian gearhead companies (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ducati, Benelli, Bimota) are all within 50 km from each other. MV Agusta is the only one that's a bit further away (250 kms).

I'm assuming it was for sale. What crazy price was on it?

It wasn't for sale. The owner was out of the country for a few months, so he stores all his motorcycles at the shop. He had a few bikes there, all highly customized. There was a BMW R nineT, which was all cafe-racered-out and you can see his Harley chopper in the back.

Would hate to try to keep it as detailed as all my toys but it looks unique and interesting.
