As I mentioned to a few of you at BurgeRR, I wanted to tap into that off season spirit that @bigpoppa was attempting to do previously. Being the offseason I think it makes more sense to do one 'formal' sit down dinner to catch up with folks in this community.

We can discuss venues if there's enough interest but off the cuff I was thinking of some place simple like The Keg. Aiming for early December so we don't start overlapping into peoples family holiday plans. I will do my best to make it as neutral as possible for all interested parties to attend (those outside the GTA).

Vote your interest and we'll go from there.

There was a suggestion about a post holiday dinner instead as that might help more with the Parked Motorcycle Syndrome and decompress from the family time. Amended the poll

Location dependant... so not likely.

Location and day dependent of course. I know Dec 5 is zero chance for me.

January may be easier simply due to many Christmas things going on.

Sounds dangerously close to the makings of a winter blues party. WootWoot

No HST if we do it between Dec 14 - Feb 15:

Only if he ever gets a day to talk in parliament. My understanding is this needs parliament and can't just be an executive order. As libs are terrified of police looking into green scandals, that won't be the end of the filibuster. I guess they may use this to buy the NDP and break the filibuster? Singh is worse than the libs if it goes that way.

I was wondering about that I'm hoping they stay out and don't pass the stupid capital gains revisions

Wait, this isn't a done deal? The news is reporting it as if it is.
