Hey guys I'm just trying to figure out what the small bulb is for below the main headlight bulb on our bikes, as the headlight bulb does both high and low beam whats the small bulb for just daytime light? and also has anyone actually replaced the small bulb with say an LED white bulb or something to that affect? I ask because the small bulb looks about the same size as the bulbs I recently pulled out of the instrument cluster under the meters, thanks. Below picture gives somewhat of an idea.

I believe it's the parking light
Correct.
You can also replace it with an LED light (colored ones look pretty cool in there if it's bright enough) if you want. forget the size needed though.

alright cool thanks guys

I replaced mine with an LED when I changed my stock headlight with a HID, works perfect. You can get it for 5$, and while you are at it change the speedo and tachometer bulbs as well. I used the white ones for mine, loving them since.

Awesome I'm doing the same thing I've changed the speedo and tacho bulbs already what temp HID did you put in if I may ask?
