I just saw this ranking on Reddit. Makes me want to spend less $$$ on my bike and spend more time riding.

What's he got going on with his left thumb? The GS500 have pre-maps? NOS?

In the comments he says that he is reflexively signalling for turning/passing :P

Those 600 riders are not really riders, green group at best.

A GS500 rider in a track with 95 percent of 600 riders from SOAR would be lapped.

Just putting things in perspective a bit. Flame away if you wish

So you're saying bikes that have 120+ hp are normally faster than a bike that has a hair more than 40?

Incredible

"Habit from street riding. I used to leave the turn signal on all the time, so I developed a habit of pushing the cancel button whenever I shifted or turned. Been trying to break the habit. :)"

Hilarious

there was another video that showed a group A vs b group. the gs gets smoked when its in the fast group.

I seen the videos of wheelie boy embarrassing 600 on his 125 as well.

i know wheelie boy is a great rider. his ride's were some of the most fun ride's up muskoka.

plus he did second or third on gymkana

A 200 pound fat chick can also look better next to a 500 pound fat chick. its all about prespective.

exactly my point, i don't understand why people are so amazed by a decent rider among a bunch of incompetents

Not experienced enough myself to really judge his track skills, but by the looks of the triple/forks, he's spent a bunch on that front end. A stock GS500 gets pretty vague above 100 km/h and heavy braking gets...interesting.

He's saying that at amateur or track day level, the rider makes all the difference. 125 vs 500 vs 600 vs 1L is irrelevant until you get into the fast group.

time to buy a 250 and start smoking green group noobs on the track. all them gtam noobs will think i got mad skillz.

You guys are hurting my brain a lot

If you are on a GS500, and you can go faster than people on your average 600, then you are a better rider than them

If he was riding with people of a similar skill level, of course he wouldn't have a chance

It's a ****ing GS500

Holy ****
