Group ride back the day

Those all look like British bikes, likely Triumphs and Nortons; looks like late '60s to me. I would guess they are at least 650cc based on what I remember from my '69 A65 BSA.

Odds are 500cc Speed Twins. 1947-1966 The headlight shell will help identify it.

... they ride pretty nice by the way ;) low, heavy, huge wheels and wheelbase, bone jarring suspension and brakes like leather, somewhat underpowered and shake like crazy, you guys would love it for about an hour

So according to my uncle this was taken in the early fifties in Barbados so definitely British, My Dad, second from left, was on a Triumph, as Trials says a 500 speed twin. in those days in Barbados it was either Triumph, Ariel or Vellocete.
Imagine, riding in a shirt and tie lol.

I would love it all day. Those are the essence of motorcycles - riding one of those for a few hours makes you feel like a real motaur.

lol That's not a shaker, that's a modern one with all the spinning bobbly weights, you need to ride a pre-unit for a week.
:ROFLMAO: it even has a disc brake!
