So I'm fairing were changed from previous owner to blue and black. My ownership says white. Cop gave me a ticket for $110.

Question is how easy is it to change the colour on the ownership and once I have it corrected can the charges be dropped?

Thanks

I just called Service ON and asked them.
Get an "Application for Vehicle Registration" form and fill out section 1, Section F in the right column, sign the back and hand it in.
That's all there is to it.
I'll post a link if I can find one online.

Cott damn you're efficient!

Now what about canceling my ticket. Chop chop get to work. Lol

I was curious because my bike is the same thing...
It was originally black and now the fairings are black/blue.
So I'll be doing it myself as well.

Ya do that cuz that cop today tailed me for so long and his only reason to stop me was for that little altercation. If I didn't have that he would of never stopped me and I wouldn't been late for work.

Whether the charge is dropped or not is completely up to the prosecutor. That sort of thing is frequently dropped, but there is no guarantee.

Your best bet is to get it corrected as soon as humanly possible, then bring a copy of your receipt to court, ask to speak with the prosecutor before court and just be honest with him.. "I'm sorry sir, I didn't realize. The vehicle was this way when I bought it. As soon as the officer alerted me of the issue I made sure to take care of it right away. Here is the proof".

Agreed.

As soon as they see the problem has been corrected and realize you're a nice guy (key word: NICE) those type of tickets are usually dropped.

His only reason was more likely to check that the plate was on the right bike or that the bike wasn't stolen (keeping in mind that most cops can't tell the difference between one make/model of bike and another... come to think of it, I have trouble telling many metric cruisers apart too!).

Your best bet.
