Good place to get a car battery?

Last time I replaced a battery I just called CAA... to my surprise their prices were very reasonable, and they come to you and install it.

Costco when they have something that fits, Walmart when they don't (sadly Walmart was the only non-dealer I could find that stocked a battery for my last car)

Auto salvage yards can have almost new batteries for 50ish

I've never had a battery from canadian tire that lasted. pure garbage.

Walmart, best battery for the buck I've ever had.

I've always bought my car batteries at Canadian Tire and never once had an issue with them.

OP if you have a trusted mechanic call him up and ask him for a price. He may be able to get a good price for you directly.

On my original battery since 2005. Never missed a beat. So my next one will be from the dealer or whoever carries oem batteries for mercs

I use car quest battery

There is a tuning company that my friend had his lexus gs430 supercharged tuned by, and the first thing they recommend is to put a car quest battery in the car.

Don't know the details, but something along the lines of it being the same battery as a high end name brand.

checked CAA, looking at 163 (member price) from there....

walmart's recommended battery is $97 everstart maxx-86

That kind of expensive for CAA, I remember that I got one from them for less than that (can't remember the actual price), as posted above it was very reasonable and the warranty is longer (3 years).
