I normally use 705s on my Vstrom and 805s on my DR. The 805s don't last as long on the highway and are be noisier, but on gravel or sand they are noticeably better than the 705s.

I always do my own. Every time I swear it'll be the last, but I keep coming back for more punishment! Each time it becomes a bit easier.

Yes, I want to learn in case I need to do a repair on the road. I assume you have a wheel balancer or is there another method without one?
