Take Montreal road/Battersea Rd all the way to Highway 15. Stop at Jones Falls for a swim in the turning pool and some food at the snack bar. Continue on to Highway 15, turn north (left) on 15 for 5 -10 mins to the Chafffeys Lock turnoff at Chaffey's Lock road. Continue on this road until it becomes Opinicon Rd. Take Opinicon Rd all the way to Highway 10 and take this south (left) until you see signs for Frontenac Park (Rutledge Rd), follow the signs all the way through Sydenham Village and then look for the Frontenac Park signs on the road in front of the grocery store. You should be on Bedford Road now. Take this road all the way until it turns into Canoe Lake Road (short section of new tar and gravel) up to Westport Road. Turn west on Westport Rd and take this to Highway 38 then take 38 south back to Kingston through Verona.

If you don't fancy the tar and gravel section of Canoe Lake Rd, then turn left onto Desert Lake Rd and take that to Highway 38 just North of Verona instead.

All roads except the short sections of Highway 10, 15 and 38 are pretty twisty (suggested 20kmh curves on signs). Surfaces are all so-so but generally fair to good. Apart from the section of new tar and gravel on Canoe Lake road there's no real obstacles here.

Scenery is excellent for Frontenac County. Lots of lakes and greenery. Lots of places to stop at the locks to watch the boats pass through the Rideau Canal.

Hey Kingston seems like an awesome place. I did HWY 13 with some crazy twisties through Tweed, Campbellford, Stirling, Warkworth, Port Hope to Cobourg. Wow awesome ride.
