The course i played in Myrtle that had the hot cart girls was called Pine Lakes. Home of Sports Illustrated magazine. All employees had to wear Scottish clothing. They had a guy on the 9th tee serving clam chowder from a big cast iron pot over a wood fire. As we rolled up he yelled "Ooooooh who let the dogs out". Told us that it was his song. Super nice guy. Wouldn't take a tip.
At the 19th hole at the bar, there's a picture of him.Perry.... Writer of the famous song! Bartender told us plenty of people claimed it. But Perry's story is the truth.
