Headed to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania/Zanzibar for 3 weeks, returning before Christmas.
We've never been there before, but thought it would be an amazing place to visit. We are just starting to plan things out, but we like to organize most of our accommodations/excursions from the ground once we arrive as opposed to pre-booking anything. I imagine we will arrive in Kampala, Uganda and slowly work our way east/south to Zanazibar. We're tying to do stuff on the cheap, because we have another trip planned for early next year which is going to send me to the poorhouse. Normally we backpack wherever we go, so when I say cheap, it can get pretty cheap as long as it's clean and safe.
Anyone ever been to these countries before?
Places you visited and highly recommend or avoid?
Transportation on the cheap, but fast?
Accommodation on the cheap, but clean enough?
Any insight is always appreciated!
Cheers
