Man, insurance can get confusing, lol....
I was paying around 230 a month for home contents, 2 bikes and a car (full coverage, pontiac G8 ). I sold a bike (scooter) and the car, and my rates are now 49 bucks for contents, 47 bucks for my bike. I inquired about insuring a POS car with everything else I have, and they want 190 a month for just liability on the car. **** them in the ear, I'm just going to insure two bikes and not own a car anymore. Gas costs too much anyways, and luckily my kid rides with me now too.
That rate for a beater is almost double than full coverage on my G8! So much for being a good driver; 26 years driving, no at-faults ever, and I have no tickets in the last four years, never had a major ticket in my life.
