Whats the best place to go go karting in this city?

And by best i mean the fastest go karts :D

outdoor places... there's one in Stouffville, forgot what it's called when I find the site I'll post it.
but if you want indoor Grand prix kartways in downsview is decent, they usually have deals on teambuy.

Personally I like Formula Kartways for indoor. Their karts are decent, the place is run fairly well for a go kart place, they have good hours and they typically are not all that busy.

Isnt that one in brampton?

Im looking for a place where you can actually have fun hauling ***! Im not interested in a place where you can do the entire track without ever lifting your foot of the gas cause the cars are designed for children.

I have never been to a place where you couldn't drive a rental kart foot to the floor. That is including my comp 4 stroke kart at Innisfil. Want some fun invest in a shifter kart that's rotax powered and come to some club races. The karts at Downsvierw as previously mentioned are electronically controlled. On an expert setting they are a handful but you need a private group to run them that way and the staff are super strict. You'll spend half the time penalized at 50% power.

PS. lifting your foot at Formula with the correct line should shave 3-7 sec of your lap times.

Not sure if it has changed, but last time I went (several years ago), the formula kartways track requires you to brake and accelerate. If you don't lift off the gas, you will hit the tire wall hard.

This is what im talking about, don't wanna buy one of these, just wanna drive it :D

^no where in the GTA that i'm aware of. Shifter Karts are expensive and require lots of maintenance. The upkeep alone on a rental kart would price them far outside of ones budget to rent one.

Goodwood didn't have shifters, but their rental karts kicked ***. Looked just like a shifter - not the tonka-toys all the other places have. Granted it's been a number of years, and it was always my buddy who arranged it (they have a rental racing series, so those were the karts we were using).

I used to work for GP Kartways, the karts are fast. But if you join their racing league its even faster. The general public is capped at like 50kms or so where the race league the karts do 60km/h or so. Its a 10km/h difference. It may be 40 and 50 but you get the idea.

Its the same karts but they are controlled remotely and the speeds can be adjusted by the guys in the pit. So you bump too much they will give you a penalty and slow your kart down for like 5 secs. I just like the fact that you dont smell like gas after driving there and the pick up in the karts is instant since their electric not gas powered.
