It’s funny what passes for ‘journalism’ nowadays. Seems like the bar is getting lower and lower each year.Ugh.Flakey journalism.
I love them but haven't gone in years. I used to have a boat out of Port Credit, sp one year I went down to watch the show on the water but they weren't allowing boaters within about 2 km of Harbourfront/Ontario Place, so it pretty much sucked.Looks like the author lives near the lake and wants his peace and quiet.
Personally I’m alright with the air show. Not a huge fan and don’t go to it. But when the kids get older I’ll take em. While fun, it’s a waste of money to me to pay for the ‘show’ and the fuel burned for such an event. Then maintenance, etc etc.
I remember my oldest shook for an hour when a fighter screamed above the cottage for the Barrie air show 2 years ago. But now he loves planes.
Lots of people employed in content creation end up scraping the bottom of the barrel and ignore (or don't have much) common sense so this kind of silliness can get put out thereIt’s funny what passes for ‘journalism’ nowadays. Seems like the bar is getting lower and lower each year.
They post thier activity regularly on fb. You can get a good view by parking at the end of the access road on the south of the airport. For an alternative viewpoint, head down to waterloo warbirds and you can take a spin (literally if you want) in a MiG. Bring lots of money.
Author is a dumb leftist who thinks conflict can be solved via hugs. Those planes and the military act both as support and a deterrent to conflict.
