Looking for a place to get a few spares cut for my Z400. Canadian Tire stuck my key in their machine and said they can’t duplicate it. Do I need to order from the dealer, go to a locksmith, or something else?

Should have mentioned location… I am in the downtown TO core but go up to the Orillia area every weekend. Anything within 30 minutes of that corridor would work. I just assumed CT would be able to do it, and I broke my spare so need a backup.
@oioioi was this place a locksmith or a bike shop?

I've always used Bill's Lock Service since he's a fellow rider. He's in Mississauga near Princess Auto, but he is also mobile, so maybe you can arrange to meet him somewhere if he's already doing a job nearby. He has all the equipment to cut a key without your original.

I came across another great locksmith service, and a fellow rider.
Based out of Hamilton. Dan is a certified locksmith with over 40 years experience. Dan has thousands of key blanks in his shop among tons of safe parts/locks.
I had a spare Suzuki key cut at this shop for $20. Suzuki dealer wanted $49 just for the blank.
Very nice guy and highly recommended. I was given his number by Sturges Cycle. Dan said he services bike/auto shops and locks all over Ontario. His expertise with safe cracking has him traveling all over the country if needed.
Give him a call next time you need a key cut.
